Well, the jeep runs, but not without pouring oil out the front of the engine by the time cover. Sigh. If not one thing, then three others. And, that is just one little thing. The City of Kentwood thinks I should have had a permit to finish the basement, and the relocation company won't buy my house until the city gives me a permit, and the city thinks I should have used treated lumber in the basement. I've paid about $350 in permitting fees, and just learned there will be additional permits required -- probably about $500 by the time I'm done. And that doesn't include the cost of fixing the wood and whatever else they want done.
