Beautiful weather. About 70 when I left the house at 0800, and maybe 85 - 90 when I got home at 1330. Six bikes. Beautiful route. Also, the ride was more relaxed and less structured than NTC rides. I guess I like the limited structure a bit better.

Also, sewed this patch on my vest tonight while/after grilling hamburgers for dinner. I had to hand-sew through the leather so that I didn't sew the pocket closed. Took quite a while but I think it will stay on.

This was Joyce's first group ride. The weather was nice and cloudy. In fact, several of us commented on being cold outside in Texas in August!
