Got home from Austin about 90 minutes ago. Rode motorcycle down there last night and rode back this afternoon. Weather was nice and I was able to come up through Copperas Cove, Gatesville, Meridian, Glen Rose, Granbury, and then through FW home. Beautiful scenery, and even some tree color! (at least qualifies as such in Texas). Since I've been home I finished putting a binding on a book, ground coffee and got the grinds soaking for toddy cold-brew coffee, warmed up some zucchini stuff for dinner, emptied dishwasher and refilled same, found Philip's lost hoodie (and Cara's too), unpacked my bags, washed bugs off the helmet, and am not quite ready for work tomorrow but am ready to sit in the hot tub, relax, and go to bed.

Oh, and I just remembered that I forgot to thank my father-in-law for lunch today -- so, Thanks!
