My sister Ellen recently sent me a small jar of Sweet Pepper & Goat Cheese Spread. I am not sure why. It arrived from California about three weeks after my birthday -- is it birthday spread? Or, did all of my siblings receive a jar? Some questions may never be answered. We will see if this is one of them.

Well, life would certainly be dull if jars of Sweet Pepper and Goat Cheese Spread didn't arrive in the mail occasionally. Still, I think you're going to have to eat this one all by yourself. :-)

At this juncture, I'm so very glad to be in Texas and not in England fighting for the right to run away whenever you pop open that jar. >P (Is it any good?)

I don't know if it is any good or not -- I've never had any before, and I haven't opened it yet. However, I suspect it will be pretty good on those crackers your mom buys but never eats with a small glass of merlot.

"that I buy but never eat with a glass of merlot"?

OK, so I can't write. But I bet if I had said it out loud everyone would have understood.

I just found the goat cheese pictures tonight. Were they there before? Don't you like feta cheese, for instance? And even if you don't I'll bet you can't taste the cheese for the pepper. Have you tried it? Or are you saving it in case some Greeks come to visit?

Yes, I do like feta cheese, but this is not feta cheese. However, I am not shy about such things, so I am trying the spread tonight. I think the pictures were probably always there, unless you happened to following the links right as I was publishing the blog. I like to put "hidden" links into my blogs occasionally. Most of the pictures link to something else, for example.
