Plumbing and bathroom remodel
We've been s--l--o--w--l--y working on remodeling our bathroom since last Easter. Today I finally got all the plumbing finished. It was a more difficult project than expected because the tub is non-standard. The spacing of the holes for the tub faucet is neither 8" nor 12", and also the three holes are not in straight alignment. So, I had to buy an 8" faucet, hack it into pieces, and figure out how to get the individual pieces back together again to fit the holes. So, this is how it ended up.

The area I had the most soldering trouble with is shown in this picture. Getting the water out of the pipes as tough, and then it turned out that one or two of joints leaked, so I had to take it apart at the floor and try again. That part of the project was completed back in January, though.

And, here is the tub with the plumbing hidden behind the backer board. We plan on tiling the floor, shower and the front of the tub.
